Literally meaning “to light” or “illuminate,” St. Lucy’s name reminds us of what our school has always been about: guiding children toward a lifetime of success, both academic and otherwise. And since opening our doors in 1961, we’ve done just that – with the simple belief that creativity and self-expression are fundamental parts of every child’s growth.

That’s why we offer a comprehensive grade school education (Pre-K through 8th Grade) with a strong foundation in the arts. Our unique programs, like Opera in the Classroom, Symphony in the Classroom, and our Little Guitars Program are specifically designed to promote creativity at an early age – encouraging students to develop the type of “whole-brained” thinking that will help them find fulfillment and success in their high school years and beyond.
